In early August, 2002, my husband was driving home and came upon a mother cat who was not much more than a kitten herself, and her 3 newborn kittens. He brought them home and she raised them in our house. Oreo was one of them. We had the mother spayed once she was finished nursing, and our female cat, Noelle, who was 4 years old, helped to rear the kittens as well. Oreo's brother was adopted and so was the mother, but sadly, she was struck and killed by a car about 6 months later.

Oreo and his sister, Cupcake, continue to thrive indoors only in our home and are very spoiled. Oreo has lots of quirks which you can read about on this site. Thanks for visiting!
